5 UNDERRATED ANIME MOVIES WORTH WATCHING - MANSY'S DOMAIN

I recently discovered some underrated anime movies, and I'd absolutely recommend it for anyone who's looking for an anime movie to watch. I have classified them under the underrated class because I haven't heard many talks about them. So, without further ado let's get right into it.

SUMMER WARS (2009)

GENRE: ACTION/ADVENTURE/COMEDY.

    This anime is about a 17-year-old Kenji Koiso who is a part-time programmer of the OZ software that the world connects to. Natsu Shinohara a classmate of his, asks him to be her fake boyfriend so she can introduce him to her grandmother. But their plan flops in the end but another issue arises pertaining to the OZ software. An AI invades the software and starts causing mayhem all around. (False fire alarms, police alarms, disruptions in the water flow and the likes.)  But Kenji together with Shinohara's Family fights against the AI and ends up restoring everything back to normal. 

(~yes, they end up actually falling in love~😏)

I RECOMMENDED THIS MOVIE TO A FRIEND OF MINE AND HE ENDED UP LIKING IT SO I'M SURE YOU WILL TOO.

JIN-ROH: THE WOLF BRIGADE (1999)

GENRE: ACTION/ROMANCE/SUSPENSE.

      Civil unrest and terrorism increased after a war had ended. Kazuki Fuse who is a member of the wolf brigade taxed with using extreme measures in cases where the riots escalate, freezes up when he sees a young female- Kei Amamiya- who was part of the "red riding hood." Females who were instructed to carry explosives around and, in some cases, blow themselves up. Kazuki Fuse's life takes a turn after he met Kei Amamiya. 

HAVE THIS IN MIND WHILE YOU'RE GOING TO WATCH IT: The entire movie started making sense while I was halfway through the movie. (Maybe it might be different for you.)

HAL (2013).

GENRES: DRAMA/ROMANCE/SCI-FI.

   Hal- the boyfriend of the elegant Kurumi tragically loses his life in a plane crash plunging Kurumi into despair. She ends up distancing herself and looking herself in her room all day. Before his death he was working on an advanced robot-QO1- who ends up taking the form of Hal. As time passed Kurumi ends up opening up to QO1 and starts enjoying life more. Kurumi ends up finding more than she knew about QO1 and herself.

SUMMER GHOST (2021)

GENRE: DRAMA/SUPERNATURAL.

     Fireworks calms the souls of the dead. This was a lore that existed for so long. When three high schoolers, Tomoya Sugisaki, Ryo Kobayashi and Aoi Harukawa try it out, they end up summoning an actual ghost. The ghost -Ayane Sato- asks then for a favor which they end up agreeing to help her. They experienced an adventure like never before.

AURA: KOGA MARYUIN'S LAST WAR. (2013)

GENRE: COMEDY/ROMANCE.

     This anime follows the story of High School Students, Ryouko Satou and Ichirou Satou. Ryouko who believes she's someone else, dresses up as the person she envisions but it leads to her being bullied by her classmates. Ichirou Satou was also like her when he was in middle school. He dressed up as a hero by name "Koga Maryuin." He decided to leave it behind due to constant harassment from his classmates but the next day when he arrives in school his class teacher asks him to become friends with Ryouko. Even though he refuses, Ryouko doesn't stop pestering him since she knew about his past. She said he should join her, so they'll reincarnate into another world.
